William and Catherine Royal Wedding Dolls: Behind the Scenes

I didn't have a strong opinion either way about this set.  There are things I like and some other things that are so-so to me.  I do love the Catherine doll.  If I saw her loose on ebay I'd probably get her.  Well, after seeing this new Barbie Collector vid there is something in me saying buy this set, buy this set!  I love the closing scene the best but it's just too short.  Would love to see some still pics of that scene.  Let me know what you think.

My thought would be: with the great invention of photoshop, I'd never go through all the troubles to make a miniature royal carriage for photoshooting...

Anyway, the dress doesnt have ONE single detail that resembles the original dress. every flower pattern on the original dress is meaningful, Barbie's dress is made of the cheapest lace Mattel can find in the market, it is not collectible but playful, Guess who now owns my set? a little girl who just turned into 3! Mattel says its not for children under 14, but her mother doesnt care!

I know what you mean but it was still amazing, almost like a mini set creation or diorama.

If I can get this set for cheap or just Catherine I would get her.

OMG, the making of is awesome! The dios are so realistic, and I think it's a beautiful giftset, but I agree in that it's too expensive taking into account its quality.

Wow! I just loved seeing the making of this wonderful set they did for the promotion of this set. Double Wow! I would just love to play on it myself. I know it gives you pangs of desire for the set itself, but I'm with Doll Saga; I just can't see paying for it for a couple of reasons. #1 and foremost like she said - the dress comes no where near the actual dress, nothing even reminiscent, #2 I am just not into the Royals this time around. I adored Diana, but for some reason there has been nothing about Catherine that has made me even vaguely interested and #3 the William doll just really lacks everything. Come on molded hair? What is this the '70's?

But, I really liked seeing this video. Thank you for sharing it.
